Berserker
A Berserker prides himself on being able to take a hit and keep on going. More so than the Tough Hero, a Berserker not only shrugs off pain, but also stays alert for when the moment calls for someone to save the day.
The fastest path to this advanced class is from the Tough hero basic class, but other paths are possible.
Rules Version: d20 Modern

Ability Surge: From 2nd level, once a day a Berserker can temporarily increase her Strength and Dexterity, but at a penalty to saving throws. The Berserker gains a +4 morale bonus to both Strength and Dexterity, but takes a –2 penalty on all saving throws.
Activating an Ability Surge is a free action, and the surge lasts for up to as rounds as the character has Berserker levels. She may end the Ability Surge prematurely if she wishes. Following an Ability Surge, the Berserker is fatigued (-2 to Strength and Dexterity) for as many rounds as she surged, but may negate this penalty as a free action by spending an action point.

The Berserker can change her place in the initiative order, moving higher in the count by a number less than or equal to her class level, she sees fit. The Berserker can declare the use of this ability at the start of any round, before anyone else takes an action.
Delay Damage: Once per day, a Berserker of 10th level can delay the damage deal by a single attack or effect by a number of rounds equal to her class level.
